Maryanne Greenough is a Medical Secretary for GMMH’s Wigan Division. She’s part of the admin team at Atherleigh Park, a five-ward mental health hospital in Leigh.

As an NHS medical secretary, Maryanne makes sure the consultant she works for can dedicate his time to patient care whilst she takes on administrative and secretarial tasks.

Dr Parveen Kumar Sharma is a Consultant Psychiatrist for GMMH’s Wigan Division and Reginal Advisor for the Royal College of Psychiatrist’s North West Division. 

He’s part of GMMH’s Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams in Wigan and Leigh taking on the daily challenge of keeping patients out of hospital by providing the right support, at the right time and in the right place.

Stuart Burnop, 45, is a Registered Nurse Associate working as part of the healthcare team at HMP Garth where he’s been for over six years. Here he provides prisoners with the full range of services that you would expect to find within community services, including administrating medication and running nurse clinics for immunisation/vaccination, wound dressing, weight management and health checks.

Carla Mobear is the Operational Manager for Specialist Perinatal Services at GMMH. As the service is still developing, Carla is very much involved in developing pathways and collaborating with other organisations to ensure our service continues to provide the best and right support.
