Mother and Baby Unit
The unit provides comprehensive advice, medical and psychological assessment and treatment for women who have recently given birth, are pregnant or who wish to become pregnant.
We support women who experience high-risk mental health problems during and after pregnancy, and for their infant up to the age of one year within a community setting.
We recognise that pregnancy and early parenthood can be both an exciting and overwhelming time. Becoming a parent is a major life change, with role changes and a mixture of emotions.
Building Attachments and Bonds Support
Our service provides essential support to parents and carers who are having difficulty bonding or developing their relationship with their baby or toddler.
Perinatal Trauma and Loss Service (PETALS)
We offer talking therapy support for women and birthing people who are not currently pregnant and who have experienced trauma and loss or intense fear or anxiety about pregnancy, childbirth, hospital, or medical settings (Tokophobia)
