Visitor WI-FI

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust offers a wireless internet connection to all visitors to the Trust.

If you have a wireless device such as a laptop then you can access the internet anywhere on the Prestwich site.

Please note: GMMH’s ICT support team will not be able to support visitors’ laptops. Users are responsible for their own devices.

Smoking

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is smokefree from 1 October 2018. Smokefree means patients; staff and visitors are not able to smoke in the hospital grounds.

We are doing this to help improve the long-term health of the people we care for. We understand this might be distressing but we are here to help.

We can provide mental health care alongside supporting both service users and staff to become non-smokers. If you are not ready to stop, we can still help.

For support and advice on stopping smoking, please go to www.nhs.uk/smokefree
