Junction 17

Junction 17 (J17) is a specialist  Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) for young people aged 13 – 17 who require assessment and treatment for a range of complex mental health difficulties. The team at J17 provide a range of services within our double award winning state-of-the-art inpatient unit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As well as inpatient services, J17 operates a five day a week day service for young people with mental health needs.

Our team of CAMHS trained mental health professionals work with young people every day towards their recovery who are experiencing mental health difficulties such as psychosis, eating disorders and anxiety/ depression. The focus is on helping the young person understand their mental health issues, build coping skills, through a range of therapeutic interventions. The ultimate goal of the team at J17 is to help  the young person to recover from the mental health issues sufficiently to be able to go back to their life, building their confidence and supporting the young person and their families/carers. The mental health services we offer at Junction 17 promote positive mental health and wellbeing and the specialist care we provide, helps ensure every young.
