Meadowbrook Unit

Meadowbrook Unit is a adult inpatient facility based in Salford Royal Hospital. We accept referrals from the community mental health teams (CMHT) or via GMMH Liaison team based within A&E department at Salford Royal Foundation Trust. We look after both informal or sectioned service users. The staff on the unit offer service users and their carer’s information about mental health, recovery and the choices and resources available to them.

We operate a structured approach to daily life. Designated times are set for various needs to be met throughout the course of the day, ensuring that all service users have equal access to these events.

Chaucer Ward Mixed Gender Psychiatric Intensive Care Ward. Chaucer ward is an 8 bed intensive care ward that offers a low stimulus environment for service users that require an enhanced level of nursing care.  0161 358 2403

Eagleton Ward Male acute admissions ward. Eagleton is a 23 bed male acute assessment ward. 0161 358 2402
