Mental Health Awareness Week 2025

This week (12-18 May) is Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, and this year’s theme is ‘community’.
This week is all about celebrating community. Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. We thrive when we have strong connections with other people and supportive communities that remind us, we are not alone. Communities can provide a sense of belonging, safety, support in hard times, and give us a sense purpose. From local to global, online to in-person, we all need community.
This week, in honour of Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, we are sharing the details of a variety of community hubs and services across our patch.
Each day of the week, we will highlight a different locality on social media, starting with Bolton on Tuesday, Salford on Wednesday, Trafford on Thursday, Wigan on Friday, and rounding up with Manchester on Saturday.
Please head over to our social channels to like, share and spread awareness of the brilliant community support on offer.
