Living Wage – we have been a Living Wage employer since 2015 and extended this commitment to Manchester following the acquisition

Being one of the top research active mental health trusts in the country - offering increased access for service users and carers to high quality research, including growing our NIHR (National Institute for Health Research) and commercial research portfolios and working towards our six Research Units (focused on psychosis, CAMHS digital, trauma and resilience, dementia and healthy brains, patient safety, and youth mental health) becoming self-sustaining.

Our Dragons Den process for funding innovative projects that support delivery of our Quality Account priorities

Volunteers – Over 120 volunteers involved in service delivery currently, of which 32 are Peer Mentors

Apprenticeships – 1 of 5 organisations in the North West to be on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers. We are continuing to exceed the Public Sector target of 2.3% by currently supporting 4.6% of our staff (235 individuals) to complete an apprenticeship programme. Apprenticeships (‘growing our own’) are a key strand of our Workforce Strategy

Continuing development of our Recovery Academy – Our Recovery Academy is currently supporting over 7,300 students– 50% of whom are service users or carers – to become experts in their own recovery. All of our Recovery Academy courses are co-written and co-delivered by professionals and people with lived experience of mental health or substance misuse problems.
