Join us in celebrating The GMMH Stars Awards 2025 in association with Red Tree Building Contractors!
On Friday 17 October, we celebrated The GMMH Stars Awards 2025 in association with Red Tree Building Contractors at the Lowry in Salford. The event was an opportunity to reflect, recognise and reward the dedication of our workforce, and highlight some of the exceptional work taking place at GMMH.
From Wigan to Wythenshawe, individuals, teams and services from across the GMMH footprint were represented on the night, as our 48 shortlisted Stars came together to celebrate their successes from the last year.
The evening was hosted by BBC North West Tonight’s, Anna Jameson, who is known for covering some of the biggest stories in the region, and on Friday, had the pleasure of breaking the news of our award winners, alongside representatives from our Board of Directors and our event sponsors, whose generous contributions covered the entire cost of the evening.
Upon arrival at the Lowry, our shortlisted colleagues and guests were welcomed with a champagne drinks reception to toast one another's accomplishments, where harpist Ada Francis set the tone for what promised to be a excellent night. The event then officially began with a series of welcome speeches from our host, Anna Jameson, Chief Executive Officer, Karen Howell, and from our lead sponsor, Matthew Pimlott, Managing Director at Red Tree Building Contractors. Followed by our guests enjoying a three-course meal, as the talented performer, Daisy Kate, took to stage to soundtrack the evening.
The night was rounded off with the moment everyone had been waiting for, the Stars Awards ceremony. Where our successful shortlisted colleagues, were invited to stage to accept their awards, presented by our sponsors, Executives, CEO and Chair, Tony Warne.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all those who helped make the night so special. Including the Recovery Pathways Service, who co-produced the table centrepieces with service users, which one lucky winner from each table was able to take home, as well as our sponsors, suppliers and our judging panel, who had the difficult task of selecting winners out of the incredible 602 nominations we received.
The awards had sixteen categories, including the People's Choice Award, chosen by our service users, and their families and carers.
