The GMMH People Plan
We are so pleased to share with you our People Plan.
Nationally, the NHS People Plan sets out how it will support transformation across the whole NHS. Here at GMMH, our People Plan reflects our commitment to increase wellbeing and engagement amongst our valued workforce. Additionally we will look at how we can create opportunities for new and existing staff through the development of new and innovative roles to address some of the workforce supply issues that exist in the Trust and the wider NHS.
The Plan has been informed using a wealth of evidence, including staff survey results and engaging with staff networks and union colleagues. It will be underpinned by four main pillars which are:
- We are safe, and physically and mentally health and well.
- We are open & inclusive, and staff have a voice
- New ways of working and delivering care
- Recruiting & retaining our people
By working differently, we can support and attract more staff to join our compassionate and inclusive organisation, and continue to provide care which truly improves lives.
