GMW has been selected as the preferred acquirer of Manchester Mental Health and Social Care NHS Trust

We are delighted to announce that Greater Manchester West Mental Health Foundation Trust has been selected as the preferred acquirer of Manchester Mental Health and Social Care NHS Trust. This decision follows a competitive process between ourselves and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.

The acquisition is not scheduled to complete until the end of 2016 and, in the meantime, we will focus on better understanding the organisation and engaging with its key stakeholders. There will be no change to how either organisation delivers its services during this period.
