GMMH initiatives to support staff shortlisted in two categories at RLDatix Awards Europe 2025

GMMH is proud to announce that two projects have been shortlisted at the RLDatix Awards Europe 2025, which recognise health and care professionals and teams driving improvements in care quality, patient safety, and workforce effectiveness.

  1. Transforming Workforce Wellbeing and Flexibility.  This initiative focussed on improving staff experience and wellbeing. By establishing a dedicated e-rostering and Temporary Staffing team, introducing a Trust-wide roster calendar, and delivering targeted training, the project has improved roster fairness and flexibility. Staff now have greater control over their work-life balance, earlier access to shifts, and a more transparent approach to planning, which has supported engagement and morale across the Trust.

  2. Digital Solutions Empowering the Workforce.  This project re-implemented Optima to strengthen governance, financial alignment, and inpatient rostering. Through a ward-level data cleanse, improved system configuration, and new approval processes, managers now have clearer tools and better oversight. The initiative has delivered measurable results, including significant reductions in agency spent, improved roster lead times, and near 96% bank fill rates, supporting both operational efficiency and patient safety.

Paul Sanders, President UK&I, RLDatix said:

“Congratulations to GMMH on being shortlisted in two categories at the RLDatix Awards Europe 2025. The work behind these projects shows what can be achieved when teams are committed to making care safer and better for everyone. It is a privilege to recognise your work, and we look forward to celebrating with you in October.”
