Could you or someone you know be infected with Hepatitis C?

 

Hepatitis C is spread through exposure to infected blood and can go unnoticed for years. If you or someone you know could be infected, get tested, get treated, and say ‘Hep C U Later’.

Hepatitis C is a blood borne virus which can cause serious damage to your liver. If left untreated, it can lead to life-threatening harm. The virus is spread through exposure to infected blood and the symptoms can go unnoticed for many years. 

There are just a few steps you need to take to say ‘Hep C U Later’. 

1. Get tested 2. Get treated 3. Get cured

World Hepatitis Day 2020

World Hepatitis Day is on Tuesday 28th July. The aim is to create awareness, and social media buzz around Hep C U Later, an initiative to support people to get tested, treated and say goodbye to Hep C.  

On 28th July, GMMH’s Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services across Greater Manchester and Cumbria held events to raise awareness of Hep C and encourage people who may be at risk to get tested and treated today.
