Achieve BBST are recruiting Peer Interviewers for February 2021

Achieve BBST are looking for people with lived experience of their services to support continuous service improvement, acting as a peer interviewer for approximately ten service users.

Achieve BBST are trying to understand what some of the barriers are for some people to access and engage with treatment services. You will be responsible for contacting approximately ten service users throughout February 2021.

You will record their responses, and work with the Community Development Lead to analyse the findings, and present them to senior managers; acting as an advocate for the peers you interviewed.

We need to recruit 8 Peer Interviewers; people with lived experience and specific skills outlined, to complete this piece of work with us. You are eligible if you meet these conditions, it is separate from other volunteer work or employment.

Peer Interviewers will be paid £10.00 per hour, and we anticipate each peer Interviewer will work 2-3 hours each week in February, although that may vary depending on responses and ease of contact.

Please submit a statement of interest to sarah-jane.truman@gmmh.nhs.uk. It must include experience that demonstrates your ability to complete the main duties and responsibilities, and how you meet the requirements of the role.

Closing date: Wednesday 13th January 2020 by 5pm.

If successful, you must be available to attend the training on Thursday 21st January 2021, which will be on Microsoft Teams; and have availability through February to complete the work. The analysis and presentation dates will be sometime in March.
