Family and Friends Representative

The Quality Network is recruiting for family members or friends who have been involved in the care of someone in a low or medium secure service, and who can represent the particular issues for family and friends. Each Family & Friends Representative will have an allocated link person within the project team to provide support.

What will the Family and Friends Representatives do?

  • Travelling to low and medium secure units across a specific region as part of an organised peer-review team.
  • Holding discussions with the family and friends at member units as part of the review day.
  • Playing a consultative role when necessary.
  • Attending regular support meetings (these will be quarterly).
  • Contributing to events and the Newsletter.
