Estate Services
Our Estates Service keeps our buildings and grounds in excellent condition. We maintain the fabric (walls, roofs, floors, windows) and all essential systems (heating, power, plumbing, ventilation) so that services run reliably. We also care for the grounds and gardens around our sites. A key focus is safety and compliance: we ensure that every building meets legal regulations and NHS standards. That’s why our Estates team is vigilant about risk management and preventative work. We do this ourselves or by working with specialist contractors.
Our Estates services include:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance — scheduled upkeep of equipment and systems
- New Works Projects — small refurbishments and improvements
- Space Planning & Utilisation — making sure our sites use space efficiently
- Fire Safety Management — ensuring all buildings are fire-safe and delivering staff training
- Medical Device Maintenance — servicing medical equipment and complying with NHS standards
Each day in Estates is varied, one moment you might be overseeing a boiler service, the next arranging repairs after a storm. Through it all, you’ll be helping ensure a safe, efficient environment for everyone in our care.
