Co-Facilitator of Training Recovery Academy
We are looking for someone with lived experience of mental health problems to help us co-produce and co-facilitate a new course for the Trust Recovery Academy. The course, Culture, Stigma and Mental Health will explore:
- The impact of culture on our mental health and how living with apposing cultures can affect us
- The link between religious and spiritual beliefs, stigma and mental health diagnosis
- Mental health service provision and validation of cultural experiences
- How we can better understand cultural needs and experiences in order to help people recover from mental ill health
We are looking for applications from service users with recent experience (within last 6 months) of mental health and/or alcohol and drug problems.
You will be paid for your time and we will cover any travel expenses. The rate of pay is £10 per hour.
