Child and Adolescent Crisis Services

We provide support for children and young people up to 18 years old living in Bolton, Wigan, and Greater Manchester, who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Our team provides mental health assessments and interventions to help children and young people to prevent the need for admission to hospital or support their transition back home after an inpatient stay.

Do you need urgent support?

For urgent mental health support, for example if you feel mentally unsafe or severely distressed, you can quickly and easily access support by calling NHS 111 and selecting mental health option 2.

It’s available 24/7, free of charge, for people of all ages, and you can call for yourself or someone else. Find out more about NHS 111 Mental Health and other urgent support services.

In emergency situations where there is an immediate risk to life, you should call 999 or go to A&E. This includes if someone has taken an overdose.

For urgent care and deep cuts/burns, you can call NHS 111, visit 111.nhs.uk online, or contact your GP.
