Governor elections 2026: Results announced

After a period of campaigning and voting, we are pleased to announce the results of the recent Governor elections. Our new Governors have now been elected to represent our members and the wider community, and we are delighted to welcome:

Newly elected and re-elected Governors

  • Public - City of Manchester: Paul Baker (re-elected)
  • Public - Other England and Wales: Sharon Mason (re-elected)
  • Public - Trafford: Chanan Singh
  • Public - Trafford: James Griffin (re-elected)
  • Public - Wigan: Stephen Hardie
  • Service User and Carer: Helen Pearse
  • Staff - Medical: Lina Abdallah
  • Staff - Non-Clinical: Daniel Birtwistle
  • Staff - Nursing: Irene-Amarachi Azuogo
  • Staff - Psychological Therapies: Kieran Jones

Newly appointed Governor

In addition to our newly elected and re-elected Governors, we would also like to welcome our newly appointed governor for the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector:
