Trauma Informed Care in Practice - Special Interest Day

GMMH will be hosting a  virtual  special interest day event, on the morning of the  28th of  November 2025.  The event will start at 9.30 am and run to 1pm.

The online event will look at  Trauma Informed Care in Practice, with a theme of ‘Making it Happen.’

We have an exciting line up of speakers, including Dr Russell Razzaque, who will be presenting on the findings of the ODDESSI Report, Dr Angela Kennedy the author of the ROOTS framework, and Dr Sandra Fergson from NHS Education for Scotland.

  • Anandi Ramamurthy, Co-founder of Communities for Holistic Accessible Rights based Mental Health (CHARM).

  • Deborah Blackburn, Professor Helen Lowey, and Dr Paul Wallace from Trauma Responsive Greater Manchester

  • Professor Anandi Ramamurthy, co-founder of Communities for Holistic Accessible Rights based Mental Health (CHARM)

  • Cath Jeffers and Dr Katy Flynn from Achieve GMMH

Who is it for?

We encourage all partners  in any role  with an interest in trauma informed care, to undertake the necessary checks to enable them to book a place. If managers could make staff aware, especially staff who may not have regular access to emails.
