The Dragons are back…
We are thrilled to announce that our Dragons are returning to the Den. They are looking forward to hearing your ideas for quality improvement initiatives to benefit our service users, carers and to improve staff experience. The Dragons' Den launches today, Monday 5th July, to coincide with the NHS's 73rd Birthday, signifying a time for hope when looking towards the future and to recognise and thank our extraordinary staff for their outstanding care and support during the difficulties of last year.
We understand that our staff are our greatest asset and always have thoughtful, caring and compassionate ideas about how to improve the quality of our services, ensuring that we can deliver the best care, every day, whilst also supporting our colleagues. The Dragons' Den is one way in which the Trust can support your creativity and innovation, and we look forward to hearing your bids!
The Den is open to bids from:
- Individual staff members
- Teams / services / departments
- Social enterprises, charities, service user and carer groups and third sector organisations that operational services are engaged with
Your bid must show how it will meet at least one of the five Trust strategy objectives, these are:
Objective one: Best care, every day - Work with service users and carers to achieve their goals by delivering high quality care and excellent outcomes.
Objective two: Compassionate, supported, motivated staff - Create an outstanding place to work, ensuring staff feel valued and are supported to reach their potential.
Objective three: Best outcomes - Continuously improve services for users through research, innovation and digital technology.
Objective four: Individualised, seamless services - Work in partnership with others to improve wellbeing and challenge stigma.
Objective five: Sustainable services, adding value - Be a sustainable, well-led organisation that delivers social value.
How to apply
Fill in the online form and make a short, two-minute film which includes brief details of your idea, with Quality Improvement Programme it relates to, how it improves quality and how it will benefit the care provided to our service users and carers or improve staff experience.
