Strike action taking place in June 2026

The British Medical Association has called off the planned industrial action by Resident Doctors which was due to take place between 7am Monday 15 June and 7am Friday 19 June.

Please attend your planned clinic appointment or procedure as normal, unless we have already contacted you to cancel or reschedule it.

If we contacted you to cancel or reschedule your appointment or procedure because of the planned industrial action then please do not attend on your original date unless we contact you again. Our teams will be working hard to review and reinstate any affected appointments at short notice. Thank you for your understanding.

As always, for urgent health advice and other treatment options, please call NHS 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk. If you attend our Accident and Emergency Departments, you may be waiting longer than normal if you have a minor ailment.
