Show your support for research on Red4Research day!

Friday 20 June is Red4Research day, where we show our support for research and all those working behind the scenes to make research happen. We know that mental health research is so important to how Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH) improves and offers innovative treatments – will you help us by showing your support?
What you can do to show your support:
- Wear something red (clothes, accessories, jewellery…)
- Take a selfie or a team photo including something red, or holding up one of our signs, and share it on social media or email it to us at AskAboutResearch@gmmh.nhs.uk
- Send us a short quote of what mental health research means to you at AskAboutResearch@gmmh.nhs.uk
- Like, comment or share our social media posts on Friday
- Facebook: @GMMHResearch

Research & Innovation at GMMH is a team of 125 colleagues, including lived experienced researchers, nurses, professors, administrators and many more – all working hard to deliver transformative research projects.

We also want to shine a light on the fantastic clinical colleagues who refer their service users to studies, deliver research and take the time to learn about innovative findings. Finally, none of our research would be possible without the 1,700 participants who take part in our 50 plus projects each year.
Whether it is trialling a new medicine, evaluating a new type of therapy, delivering treatments using digital therapies, or making mental health support more accessible, our researchers and innovators work with service users, carers and staff to design and deliver insightful mental health research.
We hope you can take part in Red4Research this year – let us know how you’ll celebrate via socials or via AskAboutResearch@gmmh.nhs.uk.
