Recovery Pathways launches Arts for Good Health Spring 2026 programme

The Recovery Pathways service, part of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH), is excited to announce the launch of its Arts for Good Health Spring 2026 programme.

Arts for Good Health are a variety of free short wellbeing courses run across Manchester and designed for access to further parts of the community. They can be used as an introduction to our core service or as part of a move-on plan.

The spring programme will run from April to June 2026. There are eight courses on offer, including Introduction to Creative Writing, Woodwork Make and Take, Introduction to Felt-making, and Flourish and Bloom.

Courses run for four to seven weeks at various venues across the city, with group sizes ranging from six to 12 participants depending on the location.

We encourage referrals from services and self-referrals from people who meet the following criteria:

  • aged 18 or over
  • a Manchester resident (have a Manchester GP and/or pay council tax to Manchester City Council)

Please note due to high demand for our courses, places are limited to one per person and are prioritised for new referrals.

If you need help completing a referral form, you can contact our Recovery Pathways Team directly via email Referrals.RecoveryPathways@gmmh.nhs.uk or by calling 0161 271 0279.
