Our Recovery Pathways service is excited to announce the launch of its Arts for Good Health Autumn 2026 programme.

Arts for Good Health (A4GH) are a variety of free short wellbeing courses run across Manchester and designed for access to further parts of the community. They can be used as an introduction to our core service or as part of a move-on plan.

A collection of handmade artworks and crafts including felted pieces, mosaics, textiles, woodwork, nature art and garden-inspired creations.

Some of the creations made in previous programmes.

The autumn programme will run from October to December 2026. There are eight courses on offer, including Botanical Colour, Digital Photography and Painting & Festive Painting, Drawing and Crafts.

Courses run for four to eight weeks at various venues across the city, with group sizes ranging from six to twelve participants depending on the location.

We encourage referrals from services and self-referrals from people who meet the following criteria:

  • aged 18 or over

  • a Manchester resident (have a Manchester GP and/or pay council tax to Manchester City Council)

Please note due to high demand for our courses, places are limited to one per person and are prioritised for new referrals.

If you need help completing a referral form, you can contact our Recovery Pathways Team directly via:
