The Recovery Pathways service, part of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH), is excited to announce the launch of its Arts for Good Health autumn 2025 programme.

Arts for Good Health are a variety of free short wellbeing courses run across Manchester and designed for access to further parts of the community. They can be used as an introduction to our core service or as part of a move on plan.

The autumn programme will run from October to December 2025. There are six courses on offer, including Autumn Garden, Woodwork Make and Take and Festive Arts and Crafts.

Courses run for around four to eight weeks at differing venues across the city, with group sizes ranging from six to 12 participants depending on the venue.

We encourage referrals from services and self-referrals from people who meet the following criteria:

  • people over the age of 18
  • a Manchester resident (have a Manchester GP and/or pay council tax to Manchester City Council)

Please be aware, due to the demand for our courses, places are limited to one per person and prioritised for new referrals.

If you need help completing a referral form, please contact us on 0161 271 0279 or email Referrals.RecoveryPathways@gmmh.nhs.uk
