The Trust is currently holding elections for members of the Trust to become Governors on our Council of Governors. We are hosting a series of online drop-in sessions on MS Teams for members of the Trust who are interested in standing for election.

Monday 6 February is the start of National Apprenticeships Week. The week brings together people and organisations passionate about apprenticeships to celebrate the benefits and opportunities that apprenticeships bring.

A study led by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH) and the University of Manchester (UoM), and funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) has found that a psychological therapy called Metacognitive Therapy (MCT) can reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress in heart disease patients when delivered in a self-help format. 

The Recovery Pathways service, part of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH), supported over 16,000 people struggling with their mental health in 2022.

160 people were tested for Hep C over two months, with 11 people testing positive. All 11 have now either started or are waiting to start treatment.
