The Pathways from Homelessness Symposium will bring together the best practice, policy, clinical and intervention work with homeless people, not just from the UK but Internationally. 

Four of our services will be presenting at the conference, showcasing the service delivery and partnership approaches to meeting the needs of homeless people across Greater Manchester.

Wednesday 21 February 2024 marks the sixth annual Mental Health Nurses’ Day.

Founded by mental health nurses from across the UK, the purpose of the day is to celebrate the work of mental health nurses, and to promote working in mental health as a fantastic career choice for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Measles is a very infectious disease - just a cough or sneeze can spread the virus to other people. It spreads easily and quickly among those who are not vaccinated, especially in nurseries and schools.

The ‘ecosystem event’ will bring together service users, clinicians, academics, and digital experts to discuss the potential of Extended Reality (XR) in mental healthcare. 

No. 93 Wellbeing Centre is hosting a number of different community groups, free wellbeing-related sessions and services for Manchester residents to help with the cost of living this winter. The Centre is a community hub at the heart of Harpurhey in Manchester. Run by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, the Centre offers a number of different groups, activities and events to support mental health and wellbeing.

A virtual reality (VR) treatment has received a positive Early Value Assessment from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), having been first piloted in Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH).

There will be a six-day period of industrial action from 7am on Wednesday 3 January to 7am on Tuesday 9 January 2024.  Any patient or service user whose appointment is affected by industrial action will be contacted directly. If you are not contacted, we look forward to welcoming you for your appointment as planned.
