GMMH's Research & Innovation department and the ADePT Research Unit are delighted to announce the launch of the MCT-PATHWAY Mechanism study, further deepening our knowledge of how to combat anxiety and depression for people with cardiovascular disease (CVD).

A Peer Mentor Coordinator from Wigan, who is using his own journey to help others through theirs, has been awarded Runner Up in the prestigious Mental Health Awards.

The flu and COVID-19 booster vaccinations take up to 2 weeks to provide maximum protection, so getting vaccinated soon will help reduce the risk of severe illness in time for the upcoming holidays this winter season.

A major milestone for Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust’s (GMMH) new flagship adult mental health inpatient unit has been reached with a topping out ceremony on Thursday 21 September marking the completion of the highest point of the build and the last piece of steel frame being fixed in place. 

Industrial action resumes on Monday 2 October, which will have a significant impact on services in Greater Manchester.
