In recognition of her work with international recruitment, Kahani Awasare was invited to Buckingham Palace on Tuesday 14 November 2023, to attend a reception hosted by The King, which recognised the diversity of nurses and midwives in the UK and paid a particular tribute to the contribution of the internationally educated workforce.

A Peer Mentor Coordinator from Wigan, who is using his own journey to help others through theirs, has been awarded Runner Up in the prestigious Mental Health Awards.

The flu and COVID-19 booster vaccinations take up to 2 weeks to provide maximum protection, so getting vaccinated soon will help reduce the risk of severe illness in time for the upcoming holidays this winter season.
