Wigan Borough Living Well, a new community mental health service which sees Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH) join forces with Wigan Primary Care, Wigan and Leigh Community Charity, and Wigan Council, is set to roll out across the Wigan Borough following a successful pilot in Hindley.

Wednesday 21 February 2024 marks the sixth annual Mental Health Nurses’ Day.

Founded by mental health nurses from across the UK, the purpose of the day is to celebrate the work of mental health nurses, and to promote working in mental health as a fantastic career choice for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Cost of living support in Manchester this winter

No. 93 Wellbeing Centre is hosting a number of different community groups, free wellbeing-related sessions and services for Manchester residents to help with the cost of living this winter. The Centre is a community hub at the heart of Harpurhey in Manchester. Run by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, the Centre offers a number of different groups, activities and events to support mental health and wellbeing.
