Loweswater Ward Reopens
As part of a hospital development we have now opened a new community facing recovery focused secure male inpatient ward at the Prestwich Hospital Site. Loweswater ward is based at the Prestwich site outside of the main Edenfield Centre but the ward remains a part of the Adult Forensic Service. The new ward benefits from a dedicated clinical team and greater access to community focused rehabilitation resources. Moves to Loweswater Ward begin in the week beginning the 3 June 2019. If you have any questions about these changes, please do not hesitate to discuss this with your relative’s clinical team.
If you are visiting Loweswater Ward, following entry to the Prestwich site the ward can be found across the car park from the Waterdale Restaurant and is just a short walk from the Curve Resource Centre.
