Let's Figure it Out: An art exhibition by Recovery Pathways

This project has been an opportunity for service users from Recovery Pathways, a citywide service at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust to explore what mental wellbeing means to them through the subject of the figure. The work on show is a powerful testimony from those who have lived experience of mental ill health and recovery.

Recovery Pathways supports you to build futures through art, people and places and find what you need to move on in life at your own pace, close to home by offering  a unique and creative range of opportunities for positive mental health and wellbeing,

The exhibition showcases a series of A1 photographs of a variety of artwork from painting and textiles to ceramics and creative writing.

“Our service harnesses the power of creative activity to help people maintain or improve their mental wellbeing. Sometimes being in a group with others is enough to start building resilience and our service can be a vital step to adjust after a stay in hospital or a period of enduring mental ill health.” Charlotte Brown, Recovery Pathways Lead.
