Join us in celebrating the GMMH Stars of 2026!

On Friday 30 October, colleagues from across the Trust came together to Hotel Football in Manchester, for the GMMH Stars Awards 2026, proudly sponsored by Red Tree Building Contractors.

The event was a chance to celebrate the incredible people who make GMMH such a special place to work and receive care, as we recognised the extraordinary work shown by our colleagues each and every day, and the lasting difference they make to the lives of our service users, carers and communities.

To kickstart the night, guests were welcomed with a champagne reception, providing the perfect opportunity to raise a glass to one another's achievements, while also having the opportunity to view the heart-warming exhibition on display, featuring works from service users accessing our Recovery Pathways service.

The evening was hosted by broadcaster Gail Porter, alongside Chief Executive Officer, Chris Oliver, who warmly welcomed guests to the event, followed by our lead sponsor, Matthew Pimlott, Managing Director of Red Tree Building Contractors.

Guests were treated to the sounds of Daisy Kate, whose music helped create a wonderful atmosphere throughout the dinner service, while Pete Turner dazzled guests with his close-up magic performance.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, the full cost of the event was covered, ensuring our Stars enjoyed a special night that they truly deserve!

The highlight of the night was, of course, the Stars Awards ceremony itself, as members of our Board of Directors and event sponsors had the privilege of revealing this year's winners and inviting them to the stage to receive their awards.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who helped make the evening such a memorable occasion. Special thanks to the Recovery Pathways Service, who worked alongside service users to create the beautiful table centrepieces that one lucky guest from each table was able to take home as a lasting reminder of the celebration.

We would also like to thank our sponsors, suppliers and judging panel. Selecting winners was no easy task, with more than 700 inspiring nominations highlighting the brilliant work taking place across the Trust. To all those who received a nomination, thank you for everything you do to support our service users, carers, colleagues and communities.

Please join us in congratulating all our shortlisted nominees and our 19 award winners on our dedicated awards page.
