Join Trafford Talking Therapies at Sale Water parkrun on Saturday 4 July 2026

Two people jogging or walking on a paved park path, both raising a hand in greeting. The path runs beside a green metal fence, with trees and greenery filling the background. Both are wearing light t-shirts, sports leggings and trainers in a leafy outdoor setting.

On Saturday 4 July 2026, staff from Trafford Talking Therapies and Sale GP practices will be taking part in the Sale Water parkrun and would welcome anyone who would like to join them.

The event starts at 9am and is a 5km walk or run alongside the river Mersey. The parkrun is completely free of charge, and parking is available at the location.

The event will take place at Sale Water Park, off Rifle Road, Sale, Cheshire, M33 2LX.

You can find out more about, and register for, the Sale Water parkrun on the parkrun website

Last year, staff, patients and families from Trafford NHS Talking Therapies and Sale Central Primary Care Network (a network of five local GP surgeries) came together to celebrate the NHS’s 77th birthday by taking on the Stretford parkrun at Longford Park.

Taking place in Trafford, the birthplace of the NHS, the event saw a brilliant turnout with over 800 staff and members of the community joining in, with some being first timers at any parkrun event. Some ran, some walked, and everyone cheered each other on in a wonderful display of camaraderie and community spirit. You can watch a video from the event below.
