Introducing Our New Strategy

We are delighted to introduce GMMH’s strategy which sets out our vision and strategic priorities for the coming three years. This strategy has been developed in partnership with our colleagues, the people who use our services, carers, people with lived experience and in collaboration with our partner organisations across all sectors and commissioners to ensure we are aligned to the needs of others, and they are supportive of our vision.
You can see the Strategy Document here.
Our purpose: Working in partnership to improve the quality of life for all we serve
Our vision: ‘Great places for care and great places to work’
Our Strategic Priorities for the next three years are:
- Delivering Care that Matters:
-
We are committed to changing the way we deliver our services, ensuring people receive the right support at the right time and in the right place, embracing a ‘community-first’ approach
- Our goal is to deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based care that truly makes a difference.
-
-
Working Together:
-
We will strengthen our focus on collaboration and how we work together with our service users, their carers, the wider community, and others to help meet people’s diverse and often complex needs
-
Collaboration with service users, carers, and partner organisations is essential to our success.
-
-
Being Fit for the Future:
-
We will make the best use of all our resources to support safe, effective and sustainable care.
-
Our focus will be on providing safe care and our governance will enable us to assure ourselves, our service users and others that we are effectively delivering this.
-
Like many organisations across the public sector, we face increasing challenges every day, such as a growing demand for our services, a national shortage of professional workforce and increasing financial demands and constraints.
The Trust Board will closely oversee the implementation of this strategy to ensure we achieve our goals.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the development of this strategy. We look forward to working together to realise our vision and build a brighter future for mental health services across Greater Manchester.
