Juliette Tait, Head of Organisational Development, said; "I nominated the Trust because the way we have used apprenticeships to introduce new talent to our workforce, and create a way for staff to further their professional development, is unique and sets us apart from other NHS organisations."
"As the climate for recruiting NHS is increasingly unsteady, apprenticeships are a way to invest in new and existing staff, and show our commitment to supporting our workforce to progress and achieve."
Cathy Berry, Head of the Apprenticeship Team, said: "I am so proud of this award - it highlights the hard work the team do to ensure staff can reach their full potential, and shows the importance of apprenticeships as a way of starting or progressing a career in the NHS."
