Deaf Awareness Week 2021

From 3 to 9 May, it is Deaf Awareness Week! In a series of videos, Katie and Ben from the John Denmark Unit share information on what being Deaf means and how you can be more understanding of Deaf culture. The John Denmark Unit provides a high standard of specialist NHS mental health services to adult deaf people. It is one of only three NHS providers offering community and inpatient mental health treatment for deaf adults in the UK.
