Critical Incident - Laureate House

Blue background with white text reading ‘Critical Incident – Laureate House’.

As a result of significant disruption to the heating system which has caused serious leaks at Laureate House in Manchester, the Trust has taken the decision to escalate to a critical incident due to building disrepair. This allows us to be able to take additional steps to maintain safe services for our patients.

There are no immediate patient safety risks, and we are working with the building provider to agree a sustainable solution for repairs.

In the interim, we are developing a programme to move patients to a more suitable environment whilst repairs are taking place. This is not expected to be for an extended period of time.

We are working with service users, carers and families, colleagues and partners to develop plans and ensure individual needs are met. We will continue to keep you updated.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these plans.
