Changes to living well services across Greater Manchester
In partnership with NHS Greater Manchester, Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, Gaddum and other stakeholders, we’ve engaged with professionals, service users, and people with lived experience in proposals to re-name and re-brand Living Well services across Greater Manchester.
Based on feedback, it's been agreed to develop a new and consistent service name and brand for all ten living well services (the brand includes things like the logo and images people see on letterheads, leaflets etc).
More information about why the changes are needed is available at New name and brand for living well services :: Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.
New icon – have your say
You’re invited to vote for your favourite of three new service icons developed in partnership with people who have lived experience (both patients and carers).
The most popular choice will be adopted for all our living well services. Visit our survey to choose your favourite icon by Friday 23 January 2026.
New name
Following engagement with patients, carers and professionals, the name of all ten living well mental health services will change to neighbourhood mental health services.
For example, Bolton Living Well Service will become Bolton Neighbourhood Mental Health Service.
You'll start to see the new name and brand used from February 2026. Costs linked to the rebrand will be minimal and won’t affect the service. All work is being done by our own communications and design staff, and most updates will be digital (e.g. website and online materials). Existing printed materials will be used until they run out, with updates made before any reprints.
