Appointment of Alice Seabourne to the Post of Medical Director
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Alice Seabourne as our new Medical Director from 1 October 2019. Alice takes over from Chris Daly, who is enjoying a well-deserved retirement after a busy three years in post.
Chris has been instrumental in driving forward our transformation programme in Manchester and we will miss his energy and humour. Chris will continue part-time as Deputy Medical Director and in his clinical role in our substance misuse services.
Alice is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 30 years’ NHS experience across a range of hospital and community environments. Alice has worked in our Later Life services since 1999 and has more recently also held the roles of Associate Medical Director for our RIBS (Rehabilitation, IAPT, Bolton and Salford) Network and Acting Deputy Medical Director.
It’s great to be able to welcome someone to the Executive Team who knows our services so well. Alongside her new role, Alice will continue with her clinical practice one day a week. Welcome Alice!
