Annual Members Meeting 2016

We would like to invite our members to the above event which will take place on: Monday 10th October 2016 from 12pm at: Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, The Curve, Bury New Road, Prestwich, M25 3BL

Following the CQC inspection this year, Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust was rated ‘GOOD’ for the services we provide. This year, our Annual Members Meeting will celebrate our CQC rating and the continued hard work and dedication of all our staff and volunteers.

The annual event, which will take place on World Mental Health Day (10th October) is free to attend. The event will look back at the Trust’s activities and achievements over the past 12 months and review our Annual Report and Accounts for 2015/16.

Guests in attendance will also see the launch of a brand new recovery publication. The recovery publication contains inspirational short stories, poems and artwork from service users, carers and people with lived experience. The book is a way of incorporating recovery stories into mainstream services, where sharing and hearing others’ experiences challenges attitudes towards mental health and drug and alcohol problems.

The event will conclude with our Staff Value Awards. The awards ceremony is an opportunity to recognise those staff and volunteers who really make a difference to our service users.
