We have received a Highly Commended recognition in the Legacy of Impact Award at the RLDatix Awards 2026 for its project, Erostering - GMMH Collaboration Approach 2025.

North View has once again received recognition across the region, as the state-of-the-art inpatient hospital claimed two awards at the North West Awards for Planning Excellence 2026 on 19 June.

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH)’s Psychological Therapies Training Centre (PTTC) is pleased to announce the successful outcome of its periodic review by the University of Manchester (UoM), resulting in full validation of all programmes for a further five years.

Following International Nurses Day, we held our first GMMH Nursing Awards on Monday 18 May 2026. The event provided an opportunity to recognise the outstanding contributions of nurses across our Trust and the impact they make on service users, families, colleagues and the wider community.

We are proud to share that two members of our catering team impressed the judges at a national cooking competition, earning a silver medal and an award for the best dish of the day.

A pioneering Greater Manchester mental health programme has been named a regional champion at the first ever NHS Excellence Awards, recognising outstanding work to reduce out of area mental health placements and keep people closer to home.

This year Recovery Pathways put No.93 Wellbeing Centre’s Community Garden Guardians in for the Royal Horticulture Society (RHS) Britain in Bloom – It’s Your Neighbourhood, and are proud to announce that the garden was awarded Level 3: Advancing/Developing!

Artwork created by service users on Andersen Ward, our Mother and Baby Unit (MBU) based at Laureate House, has won an art competition hosted by the Royal College of Psychiatrists' Perinatal Quality Network (PQN).

We're proud that our Pharmacy Team, working with colleagues from Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and Stockport Integrated Care board, won ‘Best Quality Improvement’ at the College of Mental Health Pharmacy Awards.
