ECTAS Accreditation Retained

A group of five people standing in a hospital room. From left to right, the first person is wearing a dark jacket and pants, the second person is in a white shirt and dark trousers, the third person is dressed in green medical scrubs, the fourth person is wearing a black uniform with a blue lanyard, and the fifth person is also in a black uniform with a blue lanyard. There is medical equipment visible on the left side of the image and cabinets on the right side. The room has light pink walls and bright lighting from overhead fixtures

We’re delighted to share that the Bolton Division’s Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) Department has successfully retained its accreditation from the Electroconvulsive Therapy Accreditation Service (ECTAS).

This is a fantastic achievement that reflects the team’s ongoing commitment to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care. ECTAS accreditation is a mark of excellence, and retaining it is a testament to the hard work, professionalism, and dedication of everyone involved.

A huge thank you and well done to the entire ECT team – your efforts continue to make a real difference.
