Young Alcoholics Anonymous
If drinking is costing you more than just money, regardless of your age, AA can help you to recover your life. In Greater Manchester, there are lots of young people using the support provided by other alcoholics to get sober. If you want help with your drinking please use this website which details how other young people (under 30) have got sober and signposts ways to get to your first AA meeting.

SMART Recovery
SMART (Self Management and Recovery Training) is a programme that provides training and tools for people who want to change their problematic behaviour, including addiction to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, food, shopping, Internet and others.
Guided by trained facilitators, participants come to help themselves and help each other using a variety of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and motivational tools and techniques.
