Studio one

Studio One runs a time-limited service that is divided into different courses, It is easily accessible by public transport and usually attracts referrals for people living in the south parts of the city.

The creative activities that are available at the Studio include: Painting and Drawing, Digital Photography, Textiles and Mixed Media.  These skills are developed within a supported environment. All sessions encourage personal reflection based on individual goals using session workbooks and group discussion to help review progress and how to carry this into everyday life.

Each course, within our programme of activities, offers goal setting, regular reviews, an opportunity for Occupational Therapy if the need is identified and a move on plan following your time with us. We can work with you to connect you with local opportunities, creative and other, to support your continued wellbeing.

While at the Studio you will have the opportunity to show your work in annual exhibitions.

Studio One supports a number of Art and Craft peer-led groups at St Andrew’s Church as part of your move-on plan into community activities.  We also host the monthly ‘What’s On’ Community Meeting South as an opportunity for you to find out what other activities are going on in your locality.
