We are also recruiting peer support, expert by experience and volunteers who bring their own expertise to the workforce.

These vacancies are in our community hub and urgent care hub across Wigan and Leigh as well as our inpatient hospital – Atherleigh Park, which is a state of the art, purpose-built facility aimed to offer the best therapeutic environments for anyone who needs mental health hospital care.

We are seeking staff that are compassionate, with a desire to improve patients recovery journey. If you’re enthusiastic and motivated with a keen interest in learning more about our clinical models, then we’d love you to apply for one of our vacancies available across the borough.

I am a dedicated and compassionate systems leader that is committed to improving patient pathways and staff wellbeing

Hi my name is Emma Nazurally, Associate Director of Operations at GMMH. I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) by background and have worked in the NHS for 24 years in organisations across the North West footprint.

I am a dedicated and compassionate systems leader that is committed to improving patient pathways and staff wellbeing, and currently completing my Professional Doctorate at the University of Chester with my thesis focus being centred around senior leadership resilience in a post COVID world and the direct impacts of psychologically safe teams.

I joined GMMH in April 2021 following the transfer of Wigan services to the Trust and am proud to lead the Wigan, Bolton and Addictions Services Care Group. This is a really exciting time to join us as we can work together to improve our services in Wigan.
