Segmentation and Promoting Throughput
The aim of this one day course is for case managers (Recovery Coordinators) to increase their knowledge of the key recommendations from 'Medications in Recovery' (including supplementary advice); it will consider segmentation, 'layering and phasing' of treatment; promoting throughput; managing risk and positive risk taking; care coordination and case management; motivation and recovery capital; and partnership working.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will:
- understand the terms “segmentation" and “throughput"
- understand layering and phasing of treatment
- discuss positive risk taking
- understand the importance of helping individuals develop motivation and recovery capital
- discuss the importance of effective partnership working

Available only for Recovery Coordinators (Case Managers), Team Leaders and Managers working for GMMH Substance Misuse Services.
