Governor Elections 2022

Voting in the GMMH Governor Elections is now open!

Members of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust have a vital role, through their elected representatives – Governors - in helping to influence decisions and shape the future development of our services.   They have a direct say in choosing the Governor they want to represent their local constituency.

Voting has started in the Governor elections for the following contested constituencies:

  • Public: Manchester Constituency
  • Public: Other England and Wales Constituency
  • Service User and Carer Constituency
  • Staff: Medical Constituency

Following the close of nominations, the Statement of Persons Nominated has been published on our dedicated elections website -

If you are a member in one of these constituencies, you will receive a ballot pack through the post or by email containing information on the candidates standing for election in your constituency and how you can vote for them.  This is your opportunity to select the candidate you feel will best represent you and your community.

To be eligible to vote in your constituency you must have been a member of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation since 25 May 2022.
