NHS Friends and Family Test
Did you know you can now have your say to help improve more services across the NHS?
The NHS Friends & Family Test is about giving patients the opportunity to provide quick feedback on their care and treatment experience. It’s already in use in many parts of the NHS and is expanding to a lot more.
You can say what is going well and what can be improved so that people who make decisions about local healthcare can take your views into account.
It doesn’t take long and you don’t need to give your details on your feedback form.
- Are discharged or transferred from the ward or service; or
- Have attended an appointment in the community
And at some other points in your care, we will offer you the opportunity to answer this question:
You will not be asked for your name and what you say will not be traced back to you. So, please tell us exactly what you think.
Look for details in the reception or waiting room. You can ask a member of staff how you can take part or use the link below to complete the survey online.NHS Friends and Family Test Online Form
The Friends & Family Test does not replace existing feedback methods, with service users and visitors still able to pass on their compliments and complaints in the normal way.
If you want to opt out of receiving Friends and Family Test text messages, reply ‘STOP’ to the telephone number or contact us on 0161 772 3534 / email@example.com.
How will the results be used?
The information will give us invaluable feedback on what you think of the care and treatment you have received, which along with existing ways of gathering feedback, will help us to make improvements for service users.
Friends and Family Test results are collated and analysed every month—these results are updated on this website on a monthly basis.
