Build a Better You: Exercise for Health and Wellbeing

It is well documented that people with mental health problems are more likely to smoke, drink alcohol, have poor diets and do less exercise.

Keeping fit and healthy can be a challenge if you are living with a long-term condition, but it will make a big difference to your wellbeing.

If you’ve been thinking about making changes to your lifestyle, such as eating and drinking healthily, there’s plenty of help and support available.

This course will increase your knowledge of the benefits of a healthy diet and show you how to make simple and easy healthy living improvements to your lifestyle.

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Understand the benefits of healthy eating and drinking
  • Learn about the different food groups
  • Learn how food and drink can affect your mood
  • Consider ways to stay motivated to eat and drink healthily

Set some realistic, personal goals to maintaining a healthy diet
